চলতি সেপ্টেম্বর মাসে টানা চার দফা বাড়ানোর পর এবার দেশের বাজারে সোনার দাম কমানোর ঘোষণা দিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ জুয়েলার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (বাজুস)। ভরিতে সর্বোচ্চ ১ হাজার ২৬০ টাকা কমিয়ে নতুন মূল্য নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। দাম কমানোর ফলে ভালো মানের অর্থাৎ ২২ ক্যারেটের এক ভরি সোনার দাম হবে এক লাখ ৩৭ হাজার ৪৪৮ টাকা। যা আজ শনিবার (২৮ সেপ্টেম্বর) ছিল এক লাখ ৩৮ হাজার ৭০৮ টাকা।

বাজুস জানায়, স্থানীয় বাজারে তেজাবী সোনার দাম কমেছে। সার্বিক পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় সোনার নতুন দাম নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। আগামীকাল রোববার (২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) থেকে সোনার নতুন দাম কার্যকর হবে।

এর আগে গত ২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর, ২৪ সেপ্টেম্বর, ২১ সেপ্টেম্বর ও ১৪ সেপ্টেম্বর সোনার দাম বাড়ানো হয়।
নতুন দাম অনুযায়ী, সবচেয়ে ভালো মানের বা ২২ ক্যারেটের প্রতি ভরি (১১.৬৬৪ গ্রাম) সোনা এক লাখ ৩৭ হাজার ৪৪৮ টাকা, ২১ ক্যারেটের প্রতি ভরি ১ লাখ ৩১ হাজার ১৯৬ টাকা, ১৮ ক্যারেটের ১ লাখ ১২ হাজার ৪৫২ টাকা এবং সনাতন পদ্ধতির প্রতি ভরি ৯২ হাজার ২৮৬ টাকায় বিক্রি করা হবে।

সোনার দাম বাড়ানো হলেও অপরিবর্তিত রাখা হয়েছে রুপার দাম। ক্যাটাগরি অনুযায়ী বর্তমানে ২২ ক্যারেটে প্রতি ভরি রুপার দাম দুই হাজার ১০০ টাকা। ২১ ক্যারেটের দাম ২ হাজার ৬ টাকা, ১৮ ক্যারেটের দাম ১৭১৫ টাকা এবং সনাতন পদ্ধতির রুপার দাম ১ হাজার ২৮৩ টাকা।
এর আগে সবশেষ গত ২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর সোনার দাম বাড়িয়েছিল বাজুস। যা পরের দিন কার্যকর হয়। সেই দামে অর্থাৎ ২২ ক্যারেটের প্রতি ভরি সোনা শনিবার বিক্রি হয়েছে এক লাখ ৩৮ হাজার ৭০৮ টাকা। ২১ ক্যারেটের প্রতি ভরি ১ লাখ ৩২ হাজার ৩৯৮ টাকা, ১৮ ক্যারেটের ১ লাখ ১৩ হাজার ৪৯১ টাকা । সনাতন পদ্ধতির প্রতি ভরি সোনা ৯৩ হাজার ১৬০ টাকায় বিক্রি করা হয়।
